The offer is for the Astrid glider in the LITE version. The difference between the "regular version" and the LITE version, is the use of a carbon tail tube(unidirectional fiber) with a fixed diameter of 10mm instead of a carbon cone.

Astrid is an F5L / F5RES class glider - a lightweight glider prepared for engine installation. Structural wings made of balsa and 2mm plywood, together with a carbon girder, provide adequate structural rigidity and simplicity of construction.

The weight of the ready-to-fly glider is about 450g - it is recommended to use lightweight foils such as oracover light.

The glider has an aluminum frame for the motor(included) Hyperflight 1806 - 2450kv (5mm axle) and 25mm cap, which must be purchased separately.

The design provides stable flight and literally flies by itself :) - the glider is very stable.

KIT Version includes:

- aluminium motor mount

- laser cut elements from balsa wood

- laser cut elements from plywood

- 3d printed elements (stab mount)

- carbon tubes

- nylon wing bolts

- pushers 

- control levers

- model building plan (instruction)

What you need to have to build and fly:

- 4x servo 9g (max 9mm thickness, torque: 1-1.6kg)

- 2S Li-Po battery

- micro receiver (min. 3-channels)

- motor: Hyperflight 1806 - 2450kv (with 5mm threaded shaft)

- spinner: 25mm diameter

- folded propeller: 7x4

- Oracover or Monocote foil or other lightweight covering material

- wood glue

- CA glue thin and thick
